It is a cute story that guides children to develop insight into their feelings and to help them develop life long skills.
Everyone knows the feeling of being left out. Sometimes it’s the child who wasn’t invited to the birthday party or last to be chosen for the team at recess. It’s an awful feeling shared by many children (and adults) at some point in their lives. In this book, Mousa feels left out when his best friend finds a new friend. He learns many lessons. He learns that it is possible to have different kinds of friendships and that it is possible to find common ground with people that seem different from us.
